LG Electronics Awarded High-Profile
Shuqaiq Steam Power Plant Residential Complex Contract in Saudi Arabia
LG Electronics was selected to supply
517 ceiling concealed cassettes and 36 wall mounted air conditioners (worth a
total of $600,000) for the Shuqaiq Steam Power Plant (SSPP) residential
complex. Although LG Electronics was not registered as a project vendor for the
Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), LG’s continued effort to promote product
excellence and technical strengths made the company a natural choice for the
lucrative contract.
With this contract, LG Electronics is able
to register as an official SEC vendor, extending business opportunities within
the country. In addition, the contract also qualifies LG as a project vendor
for other public works projects. By building on the success of this project, LG
Electronics aims to extend its presence in this dynamic market by strengthening
its relationship with the SEC and other important institutions in Saudi Arabia.
